Money, money, money. Part3 -by morfeas9

My selective realism:
1. A dictionary
Commodity art (noun)
Art targeting spicific buyers: Art that is not purely an expression of the artist’s ideas, but is tailored in its subject matter and style to appeal to a specific commercial market.
2. A painting
Bansky “Painting Everyone Always Says They Want To Buy but No One Does”

3. A quote
“Warhol once remarked that ”all department stores will become museums, and all museums will become department stores.” Of course, as a critique of consumer society, his quip remains at least as cynical as it is amusing, and not everybody will buy it. For those who do, though, maybe all the world really is for sale — and shopping is something of an art form.”
I Think, Therefore I Shop
Museum for Applied Art, Frankfurt.
