Parthenogenesis -by morfeas9

Today at a popular beach, a friend of mine had an intellectual brainstorm. He supports the idea that Homer was the first rapper ever to be.

Rapsody – RAPsody – RAP(=the rhythmic spoken delivery of rhymes, wordplay, and poetry, one of the elements of hip-hop music and culture)

“Ἰππους δ’ εἰς Ἰθάκην οὐκ ἄξομαι, ἀλλὰ σοὶ αὐτῷ ἐνθάδε λείψω ἄγαλμα” (Οδύσσεια). Sung in an aggressive tone, with heavy hip-hop beats layered underneath it. Imagine that!

  1. You sure it wasn’t a sunstroke?

    STRIKE!

    Ha, kidding.

Yeah well, any sentence in any language can be turned into a hip hop song. Although I guess some languages sound funnier than others. For classical Greek, I think it would compare well with Italian hip hop because of the intonations of the two languages.

  2. Epires to polla sovara…:P Anyway i found the rap-rapsody logopegnio quite interesting!!
