I LOVE shoulder pads!
If you were also looking you would have seen that they never really went away – Marc and Co just picked on it now but thrift girls and ‘rough’ (f)arty girls around the world were always into their shoulder pads.
The only ones I know that maintained the shoulder pads fashion throughout the ages are female friends of mine without much height.
Here’s one of the few good things that I remember from that era:
you know what, last night after helping Julia, I couldn’t sleep, I thought about the shoulder masculine top. I think that’s the influence carry on from the last season the suit, and push the boundary towards something exaggerate!!! Exciting!;-)
